Pour son nouveau programme Duo Ostinato a été inspiré par le travail humaniste du photographe Edward Steichen. Frappés par la force de sa collection The Family of man où l’être humain est montré dans son universalité, indépendamment de son origine, sa culture ou son mode de vie, les deux musiciens créent une expérience audio-visuelle conçue comme un dialogue entre musique et photographie. Ils s’associent pour ce projet au photographe Tat Teng Key dont ils suivent le travail depuis de nombreuses années, travail dont la délicatesse et l’intensité s’inscrivent dans la philosophie même d’Edward Steichen. Lors de la première mondiale à Taipei, en juillet 2025, le spectacle est accueilli très chaleureusement par le public, leur grande émotion renforçant la conviction que la thématique de l’humain reste plus que jamais d’actualité dans le monde agité d’aujourd’hui.
Cette création, intitulée Love to be with you, répond au besoin de continuer à œuvrer pour la paix à travers l’action artistique et invite au vivre ensemble.
For their new program, Duo Ostinato was inspired by the humanistic work of photographer Edward Steichen. Struck by the power of his collection The Family of Man, which shows humanity in all its universality, regardless of origin, culture, or lifestyle, the two musicians have created an audio-visual experience conceived as a dialogue between music and photography. For this project, they have teamed up with photographer Tat Teng Key, whose work they have been following for many years and whose delicacy and intensity are in line with Edward Steichen’s philosophy. At its world premiere in Taipei in July 2025, the show was warmly received by the audience, whose strong emotions reinforced the conviction that the theme of humanity remains more relevant than ever in today’s turbulent world.
This creation, entitled Love to be with you, responds to the need to continue working for peace through artistic action and invites us to live together.
